Solace

I’m happy to share a new artwork for Solace, painted using assets from our production pipeline. It’s exciting to finally reveal a more visceral and mythic side of the project.
It's Asja during her descent into the unknown, searching for a way to reunite with Hati - her lost companion, whom she carries on her back. Her arm bears a primordial glyph that becomes the key to the journey ahead.
Solace is an independent animated tale exploring grief, animal companionship, and the space between life and death. The project is being built by an international team of artists with backgrounds spanning feature animation, games, and VFX - all united by a shared passion for emotionally driven storytelling.
We’re also documenting the creative process behind the film - from worldbuilding and pipeline development to look development and animation workflows. If you’d like to follow the journey behind the scenes, you can join our newsletter at www.solacetale.com 🐺
Huge thanks to the entire team working tirelessly to bring this story to life.
